WHAT CAN WE DO FOR YOU?
We can draw plans (clever plans if we do say so ourselves!) - See below for plans from intimate residential gardens to expansive master plans, commercial developments, public spaces, and council projects, and a few nice images including AI aspirational images to get you excited about your space. Each design is carefully considered to respond to its setting, purpose, and the people who will experience it.

Some studios specialise in highly detailed visualisations, drone mapping, immersive 3D modelling and presentation packages.
That's great—but it isn't what we do.
We specialise in clear, thoughtful landscape plans that help homeowners, investors and developers confidently improve their property. Our focus is practical design, sensible solutions and creating gardens and landscapes that are beautiful, functional and achievable.
If you'd rather invest in the thinking than the theatre, you'll probably enjoy working with us.

THE SEED
A perfect starting point helping homeowners understand how to dramatically improve the street appeal of their home. Also great for those wanting to sell or to help improve the first impressions of their property.
Review can be completed in person or remotely. You will receive a memo with recommendations and an AI visualization(if appropriate).

THE PLOT TWIST
For those clever people that know what you want (or know you want something different to what you have got!) and you are wanting to get it built.
Plans are perfect for anyone wanting to hire a contractor, do it yourself, or stage it over time.
Plans can be drawn for the most itty bitty properties or sprawling estates and subdivisions (and everything in between).

YOUR GREENPRINT
Get it, it's a play on "blueprint" (ok I heard you groan...i'll move on!)
Your property has a lot going on, or maybe not enough... but you know you want to plan for the future, and you know you cannot do it all now. Maybe you and your significant other have differing ideas, or maybe you don't know whether to hold onto the property, or sell.... let's get together and get a blueprint sorted, so you can move forward with confidence!

BEHIND THE PLANS
Melanie has over 20 years of experience in the design field. After graduating from Victoria University with a degree in Landscape Architecture, she spent four years working in Wellington, primarily on residential gardens. The next 15 years with were spent at Bluemarble Landscape Architects in New Plymouth, working on all projects from pocket parks and private gardens to multi-lot subdivisions. Between the two offices she spent a year travelling across 12 countries, which broadened her horizons and cemented a lifelong passion for travel and adventure. Now, under a new name, Melanie continues doing what she’s done for the past two decades—bringing creative vision and practical solutions to outdoor spaces—and looks forward to making your property the envy of the neighbourhood. She offers creative landscape design services for everything from photo realistic concepts, private gardens to large-scale subdivisions, streets capes, and parks—blending aesthetics and functionality with a collaborative, down-to-earth approach.

CAN YOU HELP CREATE A LOW MAINTENANCE DESIGN?
Absolutely. Many clients want attractive outdoor spaces that are easy to maintain. We can recommend practical layouts, hardy planting options, simplified garden structures, and materials suited to your maintenance goals.

CAN I GET A LANDSCAPE PLAN DONE REMOTELY/ONLINE?
Yes. Many landscape concepts can now be completed remotely using site photos, measurements, inspiration images, and client questionnaires. This makes the process faster, more affordable, and more flexible while still providing a fully functional concept for your space.

DO YOU WORK WITH EXISTING GARDENS OR JUST NEW BUILDS?
Both! We often redesign or refresh existing outdoor spaces rather than starting from scratch. This can include modernising gardens, improving street appeal, updating planting, adding screening, or reworking underused areas. But we also create beautiful spaces from scratch for new builds and green field developments. If the area is outside, then we are happy to have a chat about what beautiful space you would like to create.

We offer landscape concept design, outdoor styling, planting plans, hard scape ideas, photo realistic visualization concepts, garden layout planning, renovation concepts, and property enhancement ideas for residential and lifestyle properties, parks, subdivisions and master planning.

CAN YOU CREATE A REALISTIC IMAGE OF MY CONCEPT?
Yes. We can create realistic landscape impressions using photos of your existing property. These images are generally created near the beginning of the process as a visual guide to make sure the concept is progressing in a way you are happy with, before committing to plans.
